We recognize local community leaders and students through the following:

• Patriot’s Pen Essay Award for students in grades 6-8
• Voice of Democracy Essay Award for students in grades 9-12
• JR ROTC Awards for high school students
• Public Servant Award for fire department personnel, paramedics, police officers, and teachers
• Youth Activities Community Award – Boy Scout or Girl Scout of the Year

We also distribute Buddy® Poppies on Memorial Day, which are assembled by vets in VA hospitals who are compensated for their work.
